Repeat Prescriptions

In light of the current coronavirus crisis, we ask that all prescription requests are made online or via email.

When requesting your prescription please include a nominated pharmacy so that your prescription can be sent directly to them.

If you need certain medications on a regular basis, you do not always need to see a doctor for a repeat prescription.

There is a computer slip attached to your printed prescription, on which you can mark the items needed, and return to the surgery, either in person during opening hours or by post. If you enclose a stamped addressed envelope we can also post it back to you, but please allow plenty of time for postage.

We can also accept online requests using the form on this page

From time to time you will be asked to come in and see the doctor before the prescription is issued for a review of your treatment.

We regret we cannot accept requests over the telephone. This is to minimise the risk of error and to keep the telephone lines free for urgent calls.

*Please note that we require 48 hours notice for repeat prescriptions.
